As a professional woman in the District, it was hard for Ronne Brown to find counsel to guide her through the triumphs and trials of being an entrepreneur. While conferring her challenges with her cohorts, Marvette Deadwyler, Jennifer Tyler, and Kim Scott, High Heels High Goals was conceived.
High Heels High Goals was founded in 2013, as revamp of the organization Womenpreneur, created by the quarto. The note for change stemmed from the need to have an organization that focused more on the passion for seeing other women succeed. It was alarming to Ronne and team the lack of support and mentorship for women in the realm of entrepreneurship. In a quick conversation with Ronne, in her early years of starting her own businesses, she received the vibe that the women she was reaching out to did not want to share their “cheat sheet” to success, in fear that the next woman would surpass them, which in turn births the mission of High Heels High Goals.
High Heels High Goals is an exclusive membership based organization that empowers women to reach their goals and educate them on various entrepreneurial practices. The group tends to focus on admitting members that are like minded individuals with qualifications, integrity, and credibility to harmonize with their anticipated progression, individually and as an organization. The ladies love to minister to those that would consider themselves the “underdogs” and turn their outlook on life into a positive and fruitful path to success.
